From 2023 to 2025, I was responsible for managing the official social media presence for Pokémon GO across several key European markets, including Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, France, and the UK. My role centered on maintaining a consistent and engaging brand voice for a massive player base while adapting content to suit different cultural nuances within the region. I primarily focused on developing high quality content for Instagram, though I also managed and produced creative assets for TikTok to reach a broader and more diverse audience.
The scope of my creative work involved a wide variety of specialized post formats tailored to the unique needs of the Pokémon GO community. I was responsible for designing and executing official announcements and detailed infographics that translated complex game mechanics into digestible visuals. Furthermore, I produced attack showcases and intricate compositings that highlighted the aesthetic appeal of the game. My responsibilities also extended to high pressure event coverage such as Pokémon GO Fest, where I managed real time updates and interactive Stories to keep the community connected and informed during major global celebrations.
Regarding the legal ownership of the visual materials produced during this period, it is important to state that I do not hold any rights to the character designs or branding. All intellectual property, including Pokémon names, designs, and related imagery, belongs strictly to The Pokémon Company.
